Construction has begun on a Localizer approach for runway 5 at Elizabethtown.

Elizabethtown Airport will soon have a localizer approach to runway 5. A platform under construction at the end of the overrun area of runway 23 will contain the localizer and DME antennas. The project is slated to be in service this coming spring. Keep an eye out for the localizer on approach plates this coming year.
