Whew, we made it through the Ice Storm of the Century!

We survived the terrible ice storm with minimal disruption at EKX.  Fortunately, the power stayed on here & we were able to keep services up 100%.  Helicopter crews from several states converged here for refueling, hangar space & planning purposes as both Nolin RECC & Kenutcky Utilities scrambled to conduct aerial surveys of power line damage & develop strategies to return full electric service to the area.
